Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva
About Me
A professor of pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva focuses primarily on sleep medicine and critical care. In addition to his teaching and research responsibilities, Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva serves as associate executive director of the American Academy of Pediatrics, where he instituted a Quality Division that has developed a data analytics program and undertaken initiatives to improveeducation quality. He also recently began overseeing a national initiative to enhance access to subspecialty care for children through Project ECHO.
In the past, Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva has served as the chief quality officer and corporate vice president of the Children’s Hospital and Health System, where he created a National Outcomes Center that was awarded more than $7 million in federal grants to develop an
electronic pediatric quality-measurement program that integrates with the state Medicaid system.
Recently, Dr. Sachdeva secured a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to undertake projects related to environmental health issues and children through the Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Units (PEHSUs) in the eastern United States.Education
